Ajay Devgn is a prominent figure in Indian cinema, known for his multifaceted roles as an actor, director, and producer. With a career spanning over three decades, he has made a significant mark in Hindi films, featuring in more than a hundred projects. His impressive body of work has earned him accolades, including two National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards. In recognition of his contributions to Indian cinema, he was awarded the Padma Shri, the nation’s fourth highest civilian honor, in 2016.

Devgn launched his acting career with the film *Phool Aur Kaante* in 1991, where his compelling debut earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He garnered critical acclaim for his role in Mahesh Bhatt's *Zakhm* in 1998, securing his first National Film Award for Best Actor. His portrayal of Vanraj in the 1999 blockbuster *Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam* further solidified his status as a leading actor in the industry.

Beyond acting, Devgn founded his production house, Ajay Devgn FFilms, in 2000, and made his directorial debut with *U Me Aur Hum* in 2008. He is married to fellow actress Kajol since 1999, and together they have two children. In August 2009, on the advice of his family, he officially changed his surname from Devgan to Devgn.
