Akira Kamiya (神谷 明, Kamiya Akira), born on September 18, 1946, is a distinguished Japanese actor, voice actor, singer, and narrator. He is celebrated for his iconic voice roles across various anime series. One of his most notable performances is as Kenshiro in the renowned series Fist of the North Star. Additionally, he brought to life characters such as Ryo Saeba in City Hunter, Shutaro Mendou in Urusei Yatsura, Shun Mitaka in Maison Ikkoku, and the ever-reliable Kogoro Mori (known as Richard Moore in English adaptations) in Case Closed.
