

Alan Cumming
Alan Cumming, born on January 27, 1965, in Scotland, is a versatile actor, writer, and television presenter celebrated for his dynamic performances across various platforms. His distinguished career has garnered an impressive collection of accolades, including a BAFTA Award, two Emmy Awards, two Tony Awards, and an Olivier Award. Cumming won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Comedy Performance in the 1991 West End production of *Accidental Death of an Anarchist*, and he received additional Olivier nominations for his work in *The Conquest of the South Pole* (1988), *La Bête* (1992), and *Cabaret* (1994). He achieved a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical after reprising his iconic role as the Emcee in *Cabaret* on Broadway in 1998. His Broadway credits also include *Design for Living* (2001) and *Macbeth* (2013).
Cumming's film career features notable performances in *Circle of Friends* (1995), *GoldenEye* (1995), *Emma* (1996), and *Romy and Michele's High School Reunion* (1997), among others.
