Alan Michael Ritchson, born on November 28, 1982, is an accomplished American actor known for his dynamic roles across film and television. He first captured audiences as Aquaman, also known as Arthur Curry, on The CW's superhero series Smallville, where he appeared from 2005 to 2010 during its fifth to tenth seasons. Ritchson later gained popularity as a lead character in the Spike TV sitcom Blue Mountain State from 2010 to 2012, a role he reprised in the film sequel released in 2016. He headlined the SyFy action series Blood Drive in 2017 and showcased his superhero prowess as Hank Hall, also known as Hawk, in the DC Universe/HBO Max series Titans from 2018 to 2021.

Ritchson reached a new level of fame with his portrayal of the titular character in the Amazon Prime Video series Reacher, which began in 2022. In addition to his television work, he played Raphael in the 2014 reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and its 2016 sequel. His film credits also include The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013), Lazer Team (2015), and Fast X (2023). In 2021, Ritchson made his directorial debut in the action-comedy Dark Web: Cicada 3301, where he also co-starred.
