

Alexandros Logothetis
Alexandros Logothetis (Greek: Αλέξανδρος Λογοθέτης), born in 1970 in Athens, Greece, is a prominent actor known for his impactful performances on stage, film, and television. He is particularly recognized for his roles in the critically acclaimed Greek TV series "To Nisi" (The Island) and the British mini-series adaptations "Magpie Murders" and "Moonflower Murders."
Growing up in a creative household, Logothetis is the son of actor Ilias Logothetis and writer Efthychia Kalliteraki, raised primarily by his mother following their divorce when he was just three. His passion for performing arts led him to the National Theatre of Greece Drama School, where he graduated in 1991. He further honed his craft at the Arts Educational Schools in London, earning a Master’s degree in acting in 1998.
Logothetis garnered significant attention for his role in the 2010 series "To Nisi," adapted from Victoria Hislop's novel. His performance in the 2003 film "Gamilia narki" earned him the Best Supporting Actor award at the Greek State Film Awards. He continued to showcase his talent in various productions, including the 2007-2008 series "The 10," and most recently, he starred in "The Promotion" (Exilixi), winning a jury award for Best Performance at the San Francisco Greek Film Festival in 2024.
From 2021 to 2024, he expanded his repertoire with significant roles in English-language mini-series, including "Magpie Murders," which aired on PBS and Britbox, and "Moonflower Murders," both based on works by Anthony Horowitz.
