Dakota Fanning

Hannah Dakota Fanning, born on February 23, 1994, is a talented American actress who gained widespread recognition at just seven years old for her role as Lucy Dawson in the critically acclaimed film I Am Sam (2001). Her remarkable performance earned her a nomination for a Screen Actors Guild Award when she was only eight, making her the youngest nominee in the history of the SAG Awards.

As a child actress, Dakota starred in a series of notable films, including Uptown Girls (2003), The Cat in the Hat (2003), Man on Fire (2004), War of the Worlds (2005), Dreamer (2005), and the animated feature Coraline (2009), where she voiced the titular character.

Transitioning into more mature roles, she portrayed Lewellen in Hounddog (2007), Lily in The Secret Life of Bees (2008), and Cherie Currie in The Runaways (2010).
