Eva Jacqueline Longoria Bastón, born on March 15, 1975, is a multifaceted American actress, producer, director, and entrepreneur. She initially gained attention for her role as Isabella Braña on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless from 2001 to 2003. However, it was her iconic portrayal of Gabrielle Solis on the ABC hit series Desperate Housewives (2004–2012) that solidified her status as a household name, earning her two Screen Actors Guild Awards and a nomination for a Golden Globe.

Longoria has also made her mark in film, featuring in titles such as The Sentinel (2006), Over Her Dead Body (2008), For Greater Glory (2012), and Frontera (2014).
