Iain Alan Sutherland Glen, born on June 24, 1961, is a prominent Scottish actor celebrated for his diverse roles across film and television. He gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Dr. Alexander Isaacs/Tyrant in the Resident Evil film series, spanning from 2004 to 2016. Glen is also well-known for his compelling role as Ser Jorah Mormont in the acclaimed HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones, which aired from 2011 to 2019.

Glen's early career includes a notable performance as John Hanning Speke in the 1990 film Mountains of the Moon, and he earned the Silver Bear for Best Actor at the Berlin International Film Festival for his role in Silent Scream the same year. His filmography further includes Manfred Powell in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001) and Brother John in Song for a Raggy Boy (2003).
