Irina Björklund, born on February 7, 1973, is a talented Finnish actress known for her captivating performances in both film and television. Originally from Danderyd, Stockholm County, Björklund moved to Finland with her family during her early childhood. Throughout her career, she has appeared in notable films including "Rukajärven tie" (internationally known as "Ambush"), "Levottomat" ("Restless"), "Minä ja Morrison" ("Me and Morrison"), and "Vieraalla Maalla" ("Land of Love").

Björklund is married to Finnish actor Peter Franzén, with whom she welcomed their son in September 2007. In 1999, she relocated to the United States and currently resides in Los Angeles, although she spent part of her early life in France.

In 2004, she was honored with the Shooting Star award at the Berlin Film Festival. Her career in Hollywood advanced in September 2010 with a featured role as Ingrid, George Clooney's lover, in "The American."
