James Edward Franco, born on April 19, 1978, is a multi-talented American actor and filmmaker. He gained widespread acclaim for his performance in the 2010 film 127 Hours, earning an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. Franco's filmography boasts a diverse range of roles, including key appearances in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy (2002–2007), Milk (2008), Eat, Pray, Love (2010), Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011), Spring Breakers (2012), and Oz the Great and Powerful (2013).
