Jay Simpson is an accomplished English actor celebrated for his extensive work across film, television, and theater. His recent performances include notable roles in the critically acclaimed miniseries Chernobyl and the historical drama Frontier.

Simpson gained widespread recognition for his portrayal of Ian 'Brookie' Brooke, a Cockney desk sergeant, in the beloved television series Foyle's War. His impressive television career also features appearances in various popular shows, including Recovery alongside David Tennant and Sarah Parish, as well as Hot Money, A Touch of Frost, Casualty, and Peep Show. Additionally, he is known for his voice work, famously voicing 'The Tree of Temptation' in Big Brother.

On the film front, Simpson has had a diverse career, appearing in works such as Hush Your Mouth, The Holiday, and the adaptation of Pride and Prejudice.
