Joseph Maxwell Dempsie, born on June 22, 1987, is a prominent English actor celebrated for his memorable performances in television. He gained widespread recognition for portraying Chris Miles in the E4 teen comedy-drama series Skins, which aired from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, he is well-known for his role as Gendry Baratheon in the iconic fantasy series Game of Thrones, appearing from 2011 to 2013 and then again from 2017 to 2019.
