Julie Bowen Luetkemeyer (born March 3, 1970) is a renowned American actress celebrated for her captivating performances. She rose to fame portraying Claire Dunphy on the acclaimed sitcom Modern Family, as well as Carol Vessey on the series Ed and Denise Bauer on Boston Legal.

Bowen's acting journey commenced with her role in the soap opera Loving in 1992. A couple of years later, she starred alongside Paul Rudd in the television film Runaway Daughters (1994).
