Lance Solomon Reddick (June 7, 1962 – March 17, 2023) was a distinguished American actor renowned for his compelling performances across television, film, and video games. He is best known for his role as Cedric Daniels in the critically acclaimed series *The Wire* (2002–2008). Reddick also captivated audiences as Phillip Broyles in *Fringe* (2008–2013) and as Chief Irvin Irving in *Bosch* (2014–2020).

His film career included notable roles such as Charon in the *John Wick* franchise (2014–2025) and General Caulfield in *White House Down* (2013). In the realm of television, he made memorable appearances as Detective Johnny Basil in *Oz*, Matthew Abaddon in *Lost* (2004–2010), and Albert Wesker in Netflix's *Resident Evil* (2022).
