Her marriage to Michael Misick, the inaugural Premier of the Turks and Caicos, from 2006 to 2008, marked her tenure as First Lady during a dynamic period in her life.

LisaRaye gained widespread recognition for her memorable role as Diana 'Diamond' Armstrong in the critically acclaimed film The Players Club, which was both directed and penned by Ice Cube. She further showcased her acting prowess as Neesee James on the CW sitcom All of Us, which aired from 2003 to 2007, and as Keisha Greene in the popular VH1 romantic comedy series Single Ladies from 2011 to 2015.
