Lukas Gage
Lukas Gage (born May 28, 1995) is a talented American actor known for his roles in various television series and films. He gained recognition for his performances in shows like American Vandal (2017), Euphoria (2019), The White Lotus (2021), You (2023), and Fargo (2023). Additionally, he has appeared in upcoming horror movies, including Smile 2 (2024) and Companion (2025).
Born in San Diego, California, Gage was raised in Encinitas, California, where he developed a passion for acting from a young age. He participated in film camps every summer and took part in numerous plays and commercials. Gage attended San Dieguito Academy in Encinitas, further honing his skills in the performing arts.
In November 2020, Gage shared a video clip of an audition conducted via Zoom, which captured director Tristram Shapeero making critical remarks about Gage's living space, unaware that his microphone was still on. This incident garnered significant attention and support from industry peers. Although he did not land that specific role, it opened the door for him to be cast in HBO's acclaimed miniseries, The White Lotus.
On a personal note, Gage is openly gay. His relationship with hairstylist Chris Appleton was confirmed on The Drew Barrymore Show in March 2023, and they became engaged shortly after. Just over two weeks later, the couple tied the knot, but their marriage was short-lived, as Appleton filed for divorce on November 13, 2023, citing irreconcilable differences.
