Margo Martindale, born on July 18, 1951, in Jacksonville, Texas, is a distinguished American actress celebrated for her work across film, television, and theater. She gained widespread acclaim in 2011 when she received an Emmy Award for her memorable portrayal of Mags Bennett in the critically acclaimed series *Justified*. Martindale's impressive filmography includes pivotal roles in notable movies such as *The Hours*, where she showcased her talent alongside an ensemble cast, and *Million Dollar Baby*, playing the mother of Hilary Swank’s character. Born to William Everett Martindale, a notable figure in the Texas lumber industry and a champion dog handler, and Margaret Pruitt, Margo was the youngest of three siblings.
