Maureen Flannigan, born on December 30, 1972, is an accomplished American documentary filmmaker and former child actress, widely recognized for her portrayal of Evie Ethel Garland on the fantasy sitcom Out of This World, which aired from 1987 to 1991.

Flannigan earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the USC School of Theater, where she participated in notable productions such as Macbeth, The Crucible, and William Saroyan's The Cave Dwellers. She made her television debut with a guest appearance on Highway to Heaven, but it was in 1987 that she secured her most memorable role in Out of This World, alongside Donna Pescow and Joe Alaskey, remaining with the series until its end in 1991.

Her career continued to flourish as she took on a recurring role as Shana Sullivan, the girlfriend of Matt Camden, in The WB's 7th Heaven. Flannigan also appeared in the ABC soap opera Push, portraying swimmer Erin Galway, and made guest appearances on shows like Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, ER, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and 90210.

In addition to her television work, Flannigan has featured in several films, including Teenage Bonnie and Klepto Clyde (1993), National Lampoon's Last Resort (1994), A Day Without a Mexican (2004), and Homecoming (2005). In 2010, she not only acted in the film Do Not Disturb but also took on the role of co-producer, showcasing her versatility in the industry.
