Michael Austin Cera, born on June 7, 1988, is a talented Canadian actor and musician. He began his career in the entertainment industry as a child actor, lending his voice to Brother Bear in the beloved children’s series The Berenstain Bears and playing a young Chuck Barris in the film Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002).

Cera gained widespread recognition for his role as George Michael Bluth on the critically acclaimed sitcom Arrested Development, which aired from 2003 to 2006 and saw revivals in 2013 and 2019. His film career includes standout performances as Evan in Superbad (2007), Paulie Bleeker in Juno (2007), and Scott Pilgrim in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010). He also appeared as a fictional version of himself in This Is the End (2013) and voiced notable characters such as Dick Grayson/Robin in The Lego Batman Movie (2017) and Barry in Sausage Party (2016).

Cera made his Broadway debut in 2014 with Kenneth Lonergan's This Is Our Youth, earning a Tony Award nomination for his role in the 2018 revival of Lobby Hero. He starred in another Lonergan project, The Waverly Gallery.

In addition to acting, Cera is a musician and released his debut album, True That, in 2014. He has also toured as the bassist for the indie rock supergroup Mister Heavenly.
