Michael Weatherly, born on July 8, 1968, in New York City, is an accomplished American actor, producer, director, and musician, standing at 6 feet 1½ inches tall. He is widely recognized for his portrayal of Anthony DiNozzo on the hit series NCIS, where he showcased his comedic charm and depth from 2003 to 2016. Weatherly first gained prominence as Logan Cale in the sci-fi series Dark Angel (2000-2002), created by James Cameron, where he starred alongside Jessica Alba.
Weatherly's early life was spent in Fairfield, Connecticut, where he attended Fairfield Country Day School and later graduated from Brooks School in 1986. He pursued various academic endeavors at institutions like Boston University and The American University of Paris before dedicating himself to acting.
His career commenced with a minor role on The Cosby Show as Theo Huxtable’s roommate, followed by a significant role in the soap operas Loving and The City from 1992 to 1996. A pivotal moment came when he starred in the 1998 film The Last Days of Disco, directed by Whit Stillman.
