

Nat Faxon
Nathaniel Wales Faxon, known as Nat Faxon, is a versatile American actor, comedian, director, and Academy Award-winning screenwriter. He garnered the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for co-writing the critically acclaimed film *The Descendants* in 2011. Faxon is recognized for his performances in the FOX comedy series *Ben and Kate* (2012–2013), *Married* on FX (2014–2015), and as the voice of Elfo in Netflix's animated series *Disenchantment* (2018–present).
A member of The Groundlings, an improvisational and sketch comedy troupe in Los Angeles, Faxon has been honing his comedic talents since 2001. His film credits include popular comedies such as *Orange County* (2002), *Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story* (2007), *Bad Teacher* (2011), *Zookeeper* (2011), and *Life of the Party* (2018).
In television, he appeared in Darren Star's satirical series *Grosse Pointe* and held recurring roles in shows like *The Cleveland Show*, *Joey*, and *Reno 911!*. He became a familiar face in commercials, including a notable series for Holiday Inn. His breakthrough role as Ben in *Ben and Kate* came in 2012. Faxon has also co-written and co-directed films like *The Way, Way Back* (2013) and *Downhill* (2020) with Jim Rash. Beyond live-action, he voices characters in *The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants* and *Housebroken*.
