Neve Adrianne Campbell, born on October 3, 1973, is a celebrated Canadian actress renowned for her contributions to both television and film. After starting her career in Canadian and American TV productions, she solidified her status as a "scream queen" through her iconic roles in horror and thriller genres, as well as in mainstream blockbusters and independent films.

Her journey began with minor roles before she landed a prominent part in the drama series *Catwalk* from 1992 to 1993, followed by her performance in the television film *The Canterville Ghost* in 1996. Campbell's move to the United States marked a pivotal moment when she portrayed Julia Salinger in the hit Fox teen drama *Party of Five* from 1994 to 2000, a role that catapulted her to fame. She became a household name as Sidney Prescott in Wes Craven's groundbreaking slasher film *Scream* (1996), a role she reprised in most sequels of the franchise. Additionally, she starred in *The Craft* (1996), *Wild Things* (1998), and *Panic* (2000).
