

Oscar Isaac
Óscar Isaac Hernández Estrada, born on March 9, 1979, is a prominent American actor. He embarked on his acting career in the late 1990s and subsequently honed his craft at the Juilliard School, initially taking on minor roles throughout the 2000s. His portrayal of José Ramos-Horta in the Australian film Balibo (2006) earned him the AACTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
Isaac gained further recognition with supporting performances in notable films including Body of Lies (2008), Robin Hood (2010), and Drive (2011). However, his major breakthrough came with his leading role as a folk singer in the Coen brothers' dark comedy Inside Llewyn Davis (2013), which garnered him a Golden Globe nomination.
His ascension continued with key roles in A Most Violent Year (2014), the sci-fi thriller Ex Machina (2015), and the superhero movie X-Men: Apocalypse (2016). He achieved international fame as Poe Dameron in the Star Wars sequel trilogy (2015–2019). Isaac has also starred in acclaimed science fiction projects such as Annihilation (2018) and Dune (2021), as well as the crime drama The Card Counter (2021).
On the television front, he was featured in the HBO miniseries Show Me a Hero (2015), winning a Golden Globe for his role as Nick Wasicsko, and in 2022, he began portraying Moon Knight in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series on Disney+.
