

Paul Gross
Paul Michael Gross, born on April 30, 1959, in Calgary, Alberta, is a talented Canadian actor, producer, director, singer, and writer. He is best known for his memorable portrayal of Constable Benton Fraser in the iconic television series "Due South," as well as for his critically acclaimed 2008 war film "Passchendaele," where he took on multiple roles as writer, producer, director, and star. During the show's final season, Gross not only continued to play Fraser but also served as executive producer, contributing to the writing of several episodes, including the season opener and the two-part finale. His musical talents can be heard on the soundtracks for "Due South." Gross later achieved acclaim with the Canadian series "Slings and Arrows."
His journey into acting began at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, where he initially pursued a degree before leaving in his third year. He returned to complete his fine arts degree. Gross has showcased his talent in various stage productions, including Shakespeare's "Hamlet" and "Romeo and Juliet," as well as other notable plays such as "Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme" and "As You Like It." Following his performance in "Successful Strangers," Gross made his film debut with "Turning to Stone."
