Philip Michael Thomas

Philip Michael Thomas, born on May 26, 1949, is a former American actor and musician, widely recognized for his portrayal of Detective Ricardo Tubbs in the iconic 1980s television series, Miami Vice. His early career featured significant roles in the animated film Coonskin (1975) and alongside Irene Cara in the 1976 movie Sparkle. Following his breakthrough in Miami Vice, Thomas transitioned to various made-for-television films and became a familiar face in commercials for psychic telephone services. Additionally, he lent his voice to the character Lance Vance in the popular video game series, Grand Theft Auto, specifically in Vice City (2002) and Vice City Stories (2006).
