

Piotr Adamczyk
Piotr Aleksander Adamczyk, born on March 21, 1972, is a prominent Polish actor celebrated for his diverse roles in film, television, and theatre. Rising to fame with his portrayal of composer Frédéric Chopin in the biographical film *Chopin: Desire for Love* (2002), he solidified his status as a Polish cinematic icon. Adamczyk gained international recognition for his compelling performances as Pope John Paul II in the acclaimed TV miniseries *Karol: A Man Who Became Pope* (2005) and its sequel *Karol: The Pope, The Man* (2006), which captivated millions of viewers across Italy and Latin America.
His foray into the Marvel Cinematic Universe came with his role as Tomas in the Disney+ series *Hawkeye* (2021), followed by his portrayal of Sergei Nikulov in the Apple TV+ series *For All Mankind* (2021–2024).
Adamczyk's passion for acting began in his childhood, leading him to join the Machulski youth theatre group in Warsaw. He further honed his craft at the Theatre Academy in Warsaw and the British American Drama Academy, where he performed *Hamlet*. After graduating, he joined the Teatr Współczesny in Warsaw while his film career flourished.
In addition to his film and television work, Adamczyk has made significant contributions to Polish dubbing, voicing beloved characters such as Melman in *Madagascar* and Lightning McQueen in *Cars*.
