Raven-Symoné Christina Pearman, born on December 10, 1985, in Atlanta, Georgia, is widely recognized as Raven-Symoné, an American multi-talented artist who excels as an actress, singer, songwriter, comedian, dancer, television producer, and model. Her career took off in 1989 when she made her television debut as Olivia on the show A Different World. In 1993, she released her first album, Here's to New Dreams, which included the single "That's What Little Girls Are Made Of," which reached number sixty-eight on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s, Symoné made appearances in several popular TV series, including The Cosby Show and Hangin' with Mr. Cooper. In 2003, she landed a leading role in the Disney Channel hit series That's So Raven, where she played Raven Baxter, a teenager with psychic abilities who sought to keep her powers under wraps. The show ran until 2007. While her co-stars reprised their roles in the spin-off Cory In the House, Raven made a brief guest appearance. During her tenure on That's So Raven, she released her third album, This is My Time (2004), which became her highest-selling solo project, peaking at number fifty-one on the Billboard 200. She later released her fourth album, Raven-Symoné, in 2008, which reached number 159 on the charts.

Raven-Symoné transitioned to film, starring in several teen-oriented movies such as Dr. Dolittle (1998) and College Road Trip (2008), and TV films like The Cheetah Girls (2003) and Revenge of the Bridesmaids (2010).
