Robert Patrick
Robert Hammond Patrick, born on November 5, 1958, in Marietta, Georgia, is a distinguished American actor celebrated for his intense portrayals of antagonists and authoritative figures. His career catapulted to fame with his iconic role as the T-1000, a liquid-metal shape-shifter, in James Cameron's 1991 blockbuster, *Terminator 2: Judgment Day*.
Growing up as the eldest of five siblings, Patrick experienced a dynamic upbringing across cities such as Boston, Dayton, and Cleveland. He briefly attended Bowling Green State University in Ohio, where a drama course sparked his passion for acting, prompting him to leave school and pursue a career in the arts. After a near-fatal boating accident in 1984, where he heroically swam for three hours to aid others, Patrick relocated to Los Angeles, where he supported himself by working in a bar and living in his car.
Patrick’s early career included roles in direct-to-video films and a small part in *Die Hard 2* (1990). Following *Terminator 2*, he appeared in notable films like *Last Action Hero* (1993), *Fire in the Sky* (1993), and *Striptease* (1996). His portrayal of FBI Agent John Doggett in *The X-Files* (1993) solidified his status in television, with further roles in *True Blood* (2008) and *Sons of Anarchy* (2008).
Beyond his impressive acting resume, Patrick is a dedicated supporter of the military and the USO, having participated in numerous tours to uplift service members and their families. A passionate Harley-Davidson aficionado, he co-owns Harley-Davidson of Santa Clarita. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife, Barbara, and their two children.
