Rodney Damon Collins is an acclaimed American actor, author, producer, speaker, and humanitarian, hailing from Toledo, Ohio, where he was born on December 25th. He is best recognized for his portrayal of Tyson Pierce on the CW series *All American Homecoming*. Recently, he earned the title of Best Male Actor in a Feature Film for his compelling performance as Bishop Buckz in *Central Authority*. Collins gained prominence in 2018 when he became a series regular on Amazon Prime’s *Chosen Kin Origins*, playing Dr. Watson, and further captured attention with his role in the award-winning film *The Carting Call*. He has also received accolades for Best Cast from the Alternative Film Festival for *The Central Authority* and is set to take on a leading role in the upcoming film *Shots* produced by Christina Cooper Productions.

Collins is the middle child in his family, with an older brother in law enforcement and a younger brother who is a firefighter. After graduating from Toledo Central Catholic High School, he attended Bowling Green State University, where he studied Political Science and film, becoming the inaugural Black Male Image Award Winner in 1994. After college, he worked in Corporate America while pursuing acting and volunteered in Monrovia, Liberia, aiding school-building projects. An ordained minister, Collins is also a dedicated family man, married with two adult children. He serves as the Global Ambassador for Victory Sports Academy in Liberia and authored *Shattered: A Journey Through the Pieces*, a book addressing mental health issues. Collins is also a proud member of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, known for their style and sophistication.
