

Sam Worthington
Samuel Henry John Worthington, born on August 2, 1976, is a prominent Australian actor recognized for his dynamic performances in film and television. He rose to international fame for his role as Jake Sully in the groundbreaking Avatar franchise, which began in 2009 and continues to expand. Worthington also portrayed Marcus Wright in Terminator Salvation (2009) and took on the role of Perseus in both Clash of the Titans (2010) and its sequel, Wrath of the Titans (2012).
In addition to his action-oriented roles, Worthington has showcased his dramatic range in films such as The Debt (2010), Everest (2015), Hacksaw Ridge (2016), The Shack (2017), Manhunt (2017), and Fractured (2019). Over his career, he has garnered Australia’s highest film honors, winning the prestigious AACTA Award three times for his leading performances in Bootmen (2000), Somersault (2004), and Avatar (2009).
On the small screen, Worthington starred as Howard in the Australian series Love My Way and as Phillip Schuler in the mini-series Deadline Gallipoli, where he also served as an executive producer. Additionally, he lent his voice to the character Captain Alex Mason in the acclaimed video game series Call of Duty: Black Ops, contributing to its sequels in 2012 and 2018.
