Shailene Diann Woodley, born on November 15, 1991, in San Bernardino, California, is a talented American actress. Raised in Simi Valley, she began her journey in the entertainment industry at a young age, starting her modeling career at just four years old and gradually transitioning to acting with various minor television roles. Woodley gained significant recognition for her portrayal of Amy Juergens in the ABC Family series The Secret Life of the American Teenager, which aired from 2008 to 2013.
Her film career took off with standout performances in The Descendants (2011) and The Spectacular Now (2013), the latter earning her a nomination for a Golden Globe Award. Woodley's prominence soared with her lead role as a teenage cancer patient in the heart-wrenching drama The Fault in Our Stars (2014) and as Beatrice Prior in the popular Divergent trilogy (2014–2016).
