Her journey in the performing arts began at the Los Angeles Women's Shakespeare Company while she pursued her studies at Santa Monica College. During her time there, she showcased her talent in productions like The Tempest and Romeo and Juliet, the latter earning her a nomination for a NAACP Theatre Award.
