Thomas Patrick Lennon, born on August 9, 1970, in Oak Park, Illinois, is a multifaceted American entertainer known for his work as an actor, comedian, writer, director, and producer. He first garnered widespread recognition as a member of the iconic MTV sketch comedy show, The State. Lennon is perhaps best remembered for his portrayal of the eccentric Lieutenant Jim Dangle in the hit Comedy Central series Reno 911!. His versatility extends to roles such as Andrei Novak in Santa Clarita Diet and Felix Unger in the modern adaptation of The Odd Couple.
Lennon has demonstrated his prowess behind the scenes as well, teaming up with writing partner Robert Ben Garant to pen several successful comedies for major studios. Their notable collaborations include the beloved Night at the Museum franchise, The Pacifier, Balls of Fury, and the 2017 film Baywatch.
