Tom Riley, born on April 5, 1981, in Maidstone, Kent, is a talented English actor known for his work in film, television, and theatre. His passion for the dramatic arts began at the tender age of four in his hometown of Maidstone, where he actively participated in various drama activities. During his educational journey, he dedicated time to writing and directing plays while in school.
Riley pursued higher education at Birmingham University, where he majored in English Literature and Drama. He graduated in 2002 with first-class honors, showcasing his academic excellence. Following his graduation, he established a small theatre company to further explore his artistic ambitions before ultimately deciding to enhance his acting skills through formal training.
In the same year he founded the theatre company, Tom enrolled in LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) to undertake a three-year Professional Acting Course. He completed this rigorous program in 2005, equipping him with the tools necessary for a successful career in acting. Over the years, Riley has built a diverse portfolio, earning recognition for his performances across various mediums.
