His journey in voice acting began under the mentorship of Clarence Nash, the original voice of Donald. Since 1999, Anselmo has also lent his voice to Donald's nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, sharing this role with Russi Taylor. He has portrayed the iconic trio in various series, including Mickey Mouse Works and House of Mouse, while Taylor voiced them in DuckTales and other projects.

Anselmo pursued his education in Character Animation at the California Institute of the Arts, which laid the foundation for his successful career in animation.
