Tony Anselmo

Tony Anselmo, born on February 18, 1967, is a talented animator and voice actor renowned for his portrayal of Donald Duck since 1985. His journey in voice acting began under the mentorship of Clarence Nash, the original voice of Donald. Since 1999, Anselmo has also lent his voice to Donald's nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, sharing this role with Russi Taylor. He has portrayed the iconic trio in various series, including Mickey Mouse Works and House of Mouse, while Taylor voiced them in DuckTales and other projects.

Anselmo pursued his education in Character Animation at the California Institute of the Arts, which laid the foundation for his successful career in animation. In addition to voice acting, he has contributed his skills as an animator on several beloved Disney films, such as The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and Tarzan.

His voice work extends to the popular Kingdom Hearts video game series, where Donald Duck serves as one of the primary characters. In recognition of his significant contributions to Disney, Tony Anselmo was honored as a Disney Legend in September 2009, solidifying his legacy in the world of animation and voice acting.
