Álvaro Luis Bernat "Tony" Dalton, born on February 13, 1975, in Laredo, Texas, is a talented actor with dual American and Mexican heritage. The son of a Mexican father and an American mother, Dalton's early education took him to the Eaglebrook School in Massachusetts, before he honed his acting skills at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York City.

Dalton's career gained momentum with his role in the popular Mexican telenovela "Rebelde," which aired from 2004 to 2006. He made his film debut in "Matando Cabos" the same year, a project he also co-wrote. He continued to establish himself in the industry with "Sultanes del Sur" (2007), and his film repertoire expanded to include "Violanchelo" (2008) and "The Perfect Dictatorship" (2014). Furthermore, he starred in the acclaimed HBO Latin America series "Capadocia" (2008) and took the lead role in "Sr. Ávila" (2017), a series that was honored with an International Emmy for Best Non-English Language Series.
