

Treat Williams
Richard Treat Williams (December 1, 1951 – June 12, 2023) was a multifaceted American actor, author, and aviation enthusiast. Over his distinguished career, Williams garnered numerous accolades, including nominations for two Screen Actors Guild Awards, three Golden Globes, a Primetime Emmy, two Satellite Awards, and an Independent Spirit Award. He showcased his talent across more than 75 films and various television series, in addition to taking on numerous roles in theater.
Tragically, on June 12, 2023, Treat Williams was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident on Vermont Route 30 near Dorset. According to reports from the Vermont State Police, a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction made a sudden turn into the path of his motorcycle, leaving him with no opportunity to evade the collision. He was quickly airlifted to Albany Medical Center but was sadly pronounced dead at the age of 71.
Williams' contributions to the performing arts and his passion for aviation left a lasting impact on his fans and the industry alike. His impressive body of work continues to be celebrated, ensuring that his legacy endures in the hearts of those who admired him.
