

Wendi McLendon-Covey
Wendi McLendon-Covey, born on October 10, 1969, is a talented American actress, comedian, and voice artist. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Deputy Clementine Johnson in the hit series Reno 911! and has since solidified her status in the entertainment industry with her portrayal of Beverly Goldberg, the lovable matriarch on ABC's The Goldbergs. Her performance in this role earned her two nominations for the Critics' Choice Television Awards for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.
McLendon-Covey's career took off following her standout performance in the 2011 blockbuster Bridesmaids. Since then, she has made her mark in several films, including What to Expect When You're Expecting (2012), The Single Moms Club (2014), Blended (2014), Think Like a Man Too (2014), What Men Want (2019), and the quirky comedy Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar (2021).
