Yvette Nicole Brown, born on August 12, 1971, is a talented American actress and comedian who gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Shirley Bennett on NBC's hit sitcom Community, which aired from 2009 to 2015.

Beyond her iconic role in Community, Brown has showcased her versatility through various performances. She played Angela Martin on Bounce's sitcom Act Your Age and voiced characters such as Rosaleen in the 2022 film Disenchanted, The Driver in Muppets Haunted Mansion, and Amanda Waller in the animated series DC Super Hero Girls. Her film credits include notable appearances in Avengers: Endgame, (500) Days of Summer, Tropic Thunder, Dreamgirls, and Little Black Book.
