Zoe Swicord Kazan, born on September 9, 1983, is a versatile American actress, playwright, and screenwriter renowned for her compelling performances across film, television, and stage. She made her entrance into the acting world with the 2003 film Swordswallowers and Thin Men, but it was her roles in notable films such as The Savages (2007), Revolutionary Road (2008), and It's Complicated (2009) that began to highlight her talent. Kazan gained critical acclaim with her performance in the romantic comedy-drama Ruby Sparks (2012), which she also wrote, and she continued to impress audiences with roles in Happy. Thank You. More. Please. (2010) and What If (2013).
