Andy Nyman is a talented English actor and magician known for his versatile performances across film, television, and theater. He initially gained recognition for his role as a tough director in the musical Musical! and later portrayed Keith Whitehead in the cult classic film adaptation of Martin Amis's novel, Dead Babies. Nyman's impressive career includes a lead performance as a Polish freedom fighter in Jon Avnet's Emmy-winning film Uprising (NBC) and as a flamboyant gay gun dealer in Coney Island Baby. His portrayal of Gordon in the 2006 horror-comedy Severance further solidified his status in the industry.

Nyman's recent work includes playing Patrick, a morally dubious reality show producer, in Charlie Brooker's horror satire Dead Set, where he meets a particularly gruesome fate. He has multiple upcoming projects, including the romantic comedy Are You Ready for Love?, a biopic on the 70s Dutch rock band Herman Brood titled Wild Romance, and the improvised thriller Played alongside Vinnie Jones, Val Kilmer, and Gabriel Byrne, released by Lionsgate in 2007.

In addition to acting, Nyman is a skilled magician and has co-created and co-written several acclaimed shows for illusionist Derren Brown, including Mind Control and Trick of the Mind, winning an Olivier Award in 2006 for their collaboration on Something Wicked This Way Comes.
