

Andy Samberg
Andy Samberg, born David A. J. Samberg on August 18, 1978, is a multifaceted American actor, comedian, musician, producer, and writer. He gained prominence as a member of the comedic music trio The Lonely Island and was a key player on Saturday Night Live from 2005 to 2012, where he and his colleagues helped to popularize the innovative SNL Digital Shorts format.
Throughout his career, Samberg has appeared in a variety of films, showcasing his comedic talent in projects such as Hot Rod (2007), I Love You, Man (2009), That's My Boy (2012), Celeste and Jesse Forever (2012), Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping (2016), and the critically acclaimed Palm Springs (2020). He has also lent his voice to several animated films, including Space Chimps (2008), the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs series (2009–2013), the Hotel Transylvania franchise (2012–2022), and Storks (2016).
In addition to his film work, Samberg starred as the witty detective Jake Peralta in the Fox, and later NBC, sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine from 2013 to 2021, serving as a producer on the series as well.
