

Chris Wiggins
Chris Wiggins (January 13, 1930 - February 19, 2017) was a distinguished English actor known for his versatile talent across film, television, and radio. He initially embarked on a banking career in England before relocating to Canada in 1952, where he transitioned into acting.
Wiggins gained widespread acclaim for his portrayal of Jack Marshak, a knowledgeable and kind-hearted expert on the occult, in the horror television series "Friday the 13th: The Series," which aired from 1987 to 1990. He is also remembered for his role as Johann Robinson (Father) in the beloved adaptation of "Swiss Family Robinson." In 1969, he earned a Canadian Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in "The Best Damn Fiddler from Calabogie to Kaladar."
Beyond his screen roles, Wiggins was a prolific radio actor, with over 1,200 appearances on various series, particularly on CBC Radio. He was well-known for voicing Dante, the egotistical computer aboard the Aleph-9 spacecraft in "Johnny Chase: Secret Agent of Space." His contributions to animated series were equally impressive, lending his voice to characters such as The Mighty Thor in "The Marvel Super Heroes" (1966), Will Scarlet in "Rocket Robin Hood," and the villain No Heart in the Nelvana "Care Bears" series. Wiggins' extensive career also included roles in "Star Wars: Droids," "Dinosaucers," and "Franklin," among others. His final appearance was in the 2005 Showtime film "Our Fathers."
