

Clark Gregg
Robert Clark Gregg Jr. (born April 2, 1962) is a talented American actor, director, and screenwriter, renowned for his portrayal of Phil Coulson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a role he held from 2008 to 2021. Gregg's voice brought life to Coulson in the animated series Ultimate Spider-Man (2012–2017) and in several video games including Lego Marvel Super Heroes (2013) and Marvel Heroes (2013).
In addition to his superhero work, Gregg gained recognition as FBI Special Agent Mike Casper on the acclaimed NBC political drama The West Wing (2001–2004) and portrayed Richard, the ex-husband of Christine Campbell, in the CBS sitcom The New Adventures of Old Christine (2006–2010).
Beyond acting, he has made significant contributions to film as a writer. He penned the horror film What Lies Beneath (2000) and both wrote and directed the black comedy Choke (2008) and the comedy-drama Trust Me (2013). His filmography also includes notable performances in The Adventures of Sebastian Cole (1998), One Hour Photo (2002), We Were Soldiers (2002), In Good Company (2004), and many others, including his recent appearances in Being the Ricardos (2021).
