Dan Hennessey is a talented Canadian voice actor known for his diverse range of characters and contributions to animated series. He began his career in a children's comedy troupe alongside notable actors such as John Stocker, Bruce Gordon, Harriet Cohen, and Jerelyn Homer. During this time, he made his film debut as Claudius, King of Denmark, in a Canadian adaptation of Shakespeare's Hamlet.
In the following decade, Hennessey became widely recognized for his work on DiC's beloved animated series, Inspector Gadget, where he provided the voice for Chief Quimby and several other characters. He also lent his voice to the character Dizzy in Nelvana's groundbreaking animated feature film, Rock & Rule.
Perhaps his most iconic role is that of Brave Heart Lion in the popular Care Bears franchise.
