Hailee Steinfeld, born on December 11, 1996, is an accomplished American actress and singer who rose to prominence with her outstanding performance in the 2010 western film True Grit. This role not only marked her entry into the spotlight but also garnered her critical acclaim, including nominations for both an Academy Award and a BAFTA Award.
Steinfeld's career expanded significantly with her roles in the Pitch Perfect series from 2015 to 2017 and the coming-of-age film The Edge of Seventeen (2016), the latter earning her a nomination for a Golden Globe. She has also appeared in notable films such as Ender's Game (2013), Begin Again (2013), and Bumblebee (2018). Additionally, her voice work includes portraying Gwen Stacy / Spider-Woman in the animated feature Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and its 2023 sequel, as well as the character Vi in Netflix’s acclaimed series Arcane (2021–2024).
