

Jim Belushi
James Adam Belushi, commonly known as Jim Belushi, was born on June 15, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois. He is a multifaceted American actor, comedian, singer, and musician, best recognized for his lead role as James "Jim" Orenthal in the popular sitcom "According to Jim." Jim is also the younger brother of the iconic comedian John Belushi, who sadly passed away in 1982.
Growing up in Wheaton, a suburb of Chicago, Jim was the youngest of four siblings, which included older brother John, older sister Marian, and younger brother Billy. His father, Adam Anastos Belushi, hailed from Qytezë, Korçë, Albania, while his mother, Agnes Demetri (Samaras) Belushi, was born in Ohio to Greek-Albanian immigrants from Korçë.
After completing his high school education at Wheaton Central High School, Jim pursued higher learning at the College of DuPage. He later graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, earning a degree in Speech and Theatre Arts. Throughout his career, Belushi has made significant contributions to the entertainment industry, showcasing his diverse talents and continuing the legacy of humor and performance established by his brother.
