Kappei Yamaguchi

Mitsuo Yamaguchi, widely recognized by his stage name Kappei Yamaguchi, is a renowned Japanese voice actor and actor hailing from Fukuoka. Currently affiliated with both Gokū and 21st Century Fox, he has carved out a significant niche in the world of anime. Yamaguchi is celebrated for his versatile voice work in iconic roles such as Ranma Saotome from *Ranma ½*, InuYasha, and L from *Death Note*. His impressive portfolio also includes characters like Usopp in *One Piece*, Tombo in *Kiki's Delivery Service*, and both Kaito Kid and Shinichi Kudo in *Case Closed*. Recently, he has gained attention for voicing Raimon "Monta" Taro, the ace receiver of the Deimon Devil Bats in *Eyeshield 21*.

Beyond his animation work, Yamaguchi has lent his voice to eroge, portraying Kyōya Ushihisa. His international presence began with his first appearance in North America at Otakon 2008, followed by guest spots at Sakura-Con 2009 and Animazement in 2010.
