

Koichi Yamadera
Koichi Yamadera is a prominent Japanese voice actor and radio host, celebrated for lending his voice to iconic characters in both anime and film. He has notably dubbed the performances of Hollywood stars Jim Carrey and Eddie Murphy in the Japanese versions of their movies. Yamadera's impressive career includes voicing memorable characters such as Spike Spiegel in the acclaimed anime series Cowboy Bebop, which premiered in 1998, and reprising this role in the feature film Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, released in 2001.
In addition to these roles, he is also well-recognized for voicing Beerus in the popular Dragon Ball franchise. Furthermore, he took over the role of Inspector Zenigata in the long-running Lupin the Third series after the retirement of the original voice actor, Gorō Naya. Yamadera first appeared as Zenigata in the 2011 film Lupin the Third: Blood Seal of the Eternal Mermaid. Beyond his voice acting, he was previously married to fellow voice actress Mika Kanai, but the couple divorced in 2006. With a career spanning decades, Koichi Yamadera continues to be a significant figure in the realm of voice acting in Japan.
