Laurie Metcalf

Laura Elizabeth Metcalf, born on June 16, 1955, is a prominent American actress and comedian celebrated for her remarkable and multifaceted performances in both theater and television. Over her impressive career, which spans more than 40 years, she has garnered numerous accolades, including two Tony Awards and four Primetime Emmy Awards, alongside nominations for an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, and three Golden Globe Awards.
